I've also tried moving the file in the GUI directly into the desired folder, but Mint is not Windows and i get a permissions error (i obviously need to give the sudo permission) and no obvious way how to enter the sudo aspect from the command line instructions. I've tried moving that to the desktop and still get the same error when running the instructions given. Slimjet IS installed to the default path (so the /opt/slimjet/ should be fine?) and i DO have the new libffmpeg.so file sitting there in my Downloads directory. I 'extract' the 'libffmpeg.so' file into the same directory then run the command given and get this error message in the console:Ĭp: cannot stat ‘libffmpeg.so’: No such file or directory So i get the zip which downloads into my 'Downloads' folder as normal.

If you install slimjet from the portable archive into a different folder, you should replace "/opt/slimjet" with the actual installation folder of Slimjet. After that, use the following commands to copy libffmpeg.so to the Slimjet installation folder ("/opt/slimjet" on Ubuntu), Extract the file libffmpeg.so out of the zip archive.
